Dominic Perri, Venture Partner & Marketing Communications
Dominic is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capital professional with expertise in tech, startups, music, real estate, and creative writing. Based in Rhode Island with his wife and kids, he has a strong background in business development, marketing, and communications.
A graduate of Northeastern University in Music Business, Dom was an early member of Bandsintown, contributing to its business development before its acquisition. He later joined Alumni Ventures, where he helped launch 10+ VC funds and played a key role in marketing, communications, and brand development, helping the firm become one of the most active VCs in the country.
Dom’s experience spans Dell EMC, where he managed global media campaigns for data storage solutions, and major record labels like Sony and Columbia Records. He has consulted for startups on growth strategies, brand development, and communications.
An MFA in Creative Writing, Dom is also the founder of the Hollihock Writers Conference and an online resource center for writers. He holds a real estate license with Sotheby’s International Realty. In his free time, he plays music, writes creative fiction, and spends time with his family and dog.
