Lauren launched the rapidly growing business in 2015 with her cousin, Laken Swan, to modernize how brides plan and pay for their wedding flowers. Tens of thousands of brides across the US and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. Her company was chosen as the 2018 Startup of the Year by Junior Achievement of Acadiana's Business Hall of Fame and grand prize winner for the IDEApitch at the 2021 New Orleans Entrepreneurship Week. Lauren sits on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge and Acadiana and is a graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a BA in Public Relations and Image Management.
