Pelican Named as Inc5000’s #3 Fastest Growing Private Company in Louisiana

Pelican Waste and Debris (“Pelican”), a venture portfolio company of Callais Capital, was recently named Inc5000’s #3 Fastest Growing Private Company in Louisiana by Revenue Growth for 2019. Along with the #3 spot in Louisiana, Pelican was ranked #454 overall in the United States and #1 in the United States for residential and commercial trash collection companies.

Achieving $18.6 million in revenues for 2018, Pelican’s General Manager Roddie Matherne, brings 30-years of experience in the waste collection industry. The Callais Capital portfolio company has achieved a 3-year growth rate of 998%. Since its inception in 2013, Pelican has grown to 340 employees.
