Mark Graffagnini

Mark Graffagnini is a Partner with Callais Capital Management. He is responsible for sourcing, screening, conducting diligence, negotiating, closing, and portfolio company management. With over 14 years of advising growth companies in multiple roles, Mark brings significant experience on preparing for exit early in the investment cycle.

Mark founded Cara Stone, LLP, a national boutique law firm focused on transactional law, securities, and litigation.. As Managing Partner, Mark grew the firm into a multi-million-dollar firm which handled approximately $1 billion in transactions in 2018.  Mark has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" in the field of securities law multiple times and has significant experience representing public and private companies Through his rigorous screening process, Mark has successfully selected and represented clients through their subsequent rounds of financing, exit, crisis management, and scale. Many of his clients have already had successful exits, including Waitr Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: WTRH) and Lucid, LLC.

Mark is an active and successful angel investor who obtained strong multiples on several investments including Waitr and Caliburger. He was a founding director of NO/LA Angel Network, Inc. and is an active Public Policy Advisory Committee member of the Angel Capital Association.

Prior to starting his law firm, Mark worked at Silicon Valley’s premier securities and corporate law firm, where he represented companies such as Logitech (Nasdaq: LOGI), GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY) and others. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.  Mark received his BA in International Relations and Psychology from the University of Redlands and his J.D. from Tulane University Law School where he was in the Order of the Coif and Tulane Law Review. Mark lives in New Orleans, LA.
